I have been asked many times "what do You use for this or that?", "Where do You get such and such?", so I decided the easiest thing to do would be provide a list that you can peruse. These Balls have held up to the chewing better than any others I've tried and the small size is perfect for your new Havanese.
Please Note: As puppies get older and start teething, you may have to pull soft toys and offer tougher toys. This is normal, especially for some Havanese. Always keep your eyes open and monitor puppies when playing with toys.
Other Things
This pet fencing saved my sanity!!
Being on 5 acres, our back half has the "big square"
fencing that my pups could easily slip through. And I didn't
want to have to keep them on leash every time we went
outside.
So I bought enough to stretch across the back of the property along
with thousands of black zip ties. I put those zip ties to use, attaching
this pet fence to the other starting at about 3.5 feet off the ground and
letting the bottom 6 or so inches fold toward me on the ground. I then raked
dirt and leaves over this part on the ground to hide it. Now the grass has
grown through holding it in place and it's holding up very well 2 years later! Will
it last forever? Nope, but I've already gotten my money's worth and now my girls
don't even snoop over there.
You can't even see it from a distance! And boy was my husband surprised when he finally noticed.
